Yesterday, 30 August. died Mikhail Sergeevich Gorbachev, the
person to whom I am grateful most of all in my life, except for my parents who
gave me life.
Gorbachev gave me freedom, as well as to other 142 million
citizens of Eastern Europe countries. Nothing like that has happened before in the
history of the world.
I lived in Romania, where the crazy dictator Ceausescu brought
the country to misery and poverty. Life was dismal and hopeless.
Gorbachev was able to change all that.
Freedom gave me the opportunity to do what I love, to say
everything I think without fear, to travel around the world and have wealthy
life.
Eternal blessed memory to you,
Mikhail Sergeevich!
