I recently met a professor of physics who retired and began to study astrology. At first glance, it seems strange that a scientist is engaged in astrology, because astrology has always been considered far from science.

It has long been observed that people born in the same month can have similar personalities. This property tried to explain astrology.

Astrologers have described 12 characters for 12 zodiac signs. The names of the signs come from the names of the zodiac constellations in which the Sun alternately resides in its movement throughout the year. The zodiacal belt is divided into 12 sectors of 30°, roughly corresponding to 12 months. The beginning is considered to be the vernal equinox.

Astrologers observed the Moon, Sun and planets visible against the background of the zodiac constellation and calculated their influence on the born child. They came to the conclusion that the order in which the planets are arranged on a person's birthday largely determines his behavior, habits and destiny.

    We will not fly like astrologers to the stars, but consider a more prosaic problem of the influence of earthly conditions on the character of a born child, depending on the time of his birth. As we will see. much can be explained by earthly conditions without resorting to astrology, which is far from science.

Since the child is to a large extent already formed at the time of birth, it is more reasonable to study the influence of earthly conditions on the formation of the child, starting from the moment of his conception.

When a sperm and an egg combine during fertilization, they form a single cell (zygote) containing a set of 46 chromosomes, 23 from each parent. Each chromosome contains DNA. DNA is a genetic program containing instructions for growth, development and reproduction. Genes are segments of DNA that determine a person's physical characteristics, as well as their talents and many psychological properties. When an egg divides, a copy of the DNA is produced in each cell.

On the fourth day after fertilization, the process of formation of the rudiments of tissues and organs begins, an embryo is formed, which is introduced into the wall of the uterus.

During the building of the body, complex physiological and biochemical processes take place that require proteins, fats and carbohydrates, as well as vitamins and microelements.

Nutrients must be in sufficient quantities throughout the development of the fetus, but this is especially important in the first days after fertilization, when new DNA is formed and cell growth begins to form the nervous system, internal organs, and skin.

The most essential trace elements are iodine, iron, calcium, magnesium, zinc, vitamins: A, C, D, E and group B (folic acid and B12), as well as lutein and other substances. In addition, the mother's blood must be oxygenated.

Each of these substances plays an important role in the formation and growth of the fetus.

Lack of certain essential minerals or vitamins increases the risk of malformations, and can lead to growth restriction, visual impairment, changes in the structure and function of the brain, various mental disorders, cognitive impairment and other malformations.

How well the mother's body is provided with various nutrients depends largely on the season and even the month.

I will give only 2 examples. Vitamin D is formed in the human skin under the influence of the sun. This means that a lack of vitamin D can be felt in the short winter days and be normal in the sunny summer months.

The same can be said about the saturation of the mother's blood with oxygen. During the cold winter months, when people don't go out for walks and often don't even ventilate their rooms, lack of oxygen can be a problem.

On the Internet you can find many examples of this kind for all nutrients, depending on the time of year and month.

Thus, the timing of a child's conception can largely determine its character, behavior, and talents.

Now back to our physics professor, who began to study astrology. This year, the Nobel Prize went to physicists who proved the existence of particles entanglement. Entangled particles can affect each other over very large distances almost instantly. Maybe, when we know more about entangled particles, other physics professors will also start studying astrology to understand the influence of planets and stars on our earthly life. Then astrology will become a science.

     Недавно я встретила профессора физики, который вышел на пенсию и начал заниматься астрологией. На первый взгляд кажется странным, что ученый занимается астрологией, потому что астрология всегда считалась далекой от науки.

     Было давно замечено, что люди, рождённые в одном и том же месяце могут иметь похожие характеры. Это свойство пыталась объяснить астрология.

  Астрологи описали 12 характеров для 12 знаков зодиака. Названия знаков происходят от названий зодиакальных созвездий, в которых  поочерёдно находится Солнце в своём движении в течение года.  Зодиакальный пояс разделён на 12 секторов по 30°, примерно соответствующих 12 месяцaм. Астрологи наблюдали Луну, Солнце и планеты, видимыe на фоне зодиакального созвездия, и рассчитывали их влияние на рождённого ребенка.  Oни пришли к выводу, что порядок построения планет в день рождения человека во многом определяет его поведение, привычки и судьбу. 

Mы не полетим как астрологи к звёздам, а рассмотрим более прозаическую задачу влияния земных условий на характер рождённого ребёнка в зависимости от времени его рождения.  Как мы увидим. многое можно объяснить земными условиями, не прибегая к помощи астрологии.

Tак как ребёнок в момент рождения в большой степени уже сформирован, то более разумно изучить влияние земных условий на формирование ребенка, начиная с момента его зачатия.

Когда сперматозоид и яйцеклетка объединяются во время оплодотворения, они образуют единую клетку (зиготу), содержащую набор из 46 хромосом, по 23 от каждого родителя. Каждая хромосома содержит ДНК. ДНК — это генетическая программа, содержащее инструкции для роста, развития и размножения.  Гены — это сегменты ДНК, которые определяют физические характеристики человека, а также его таланты и многие психологические свойства.  При делении яйцеклетки в каждой клетке воспроизводится копия ДНК.

На четвертый день после оплодотворения начинается процесс формирования зачатков тканей и органов, образуется эмбрион, который внедряется в стенку матки.

Bо время построения организма происходят сложные физиологические и биохимические процессы, которые нуждаются в белках, жирах и углеводах, а также витаминах и микроэлементах.

Питательные вещества должны быть в достаточном количестве во все время pазвития плода, но особенно это важно в первые дни после оплодотворения, когда образуется новая ДНК и начинается рост клеток для oбразования нервной системы, внутренних органов, и кожи.

Наиболее необходимыми являются микроэлементы йод, железо, кальций, магний, цинк, витамины: А, С, D, E и группы B (фолиевая кислота и B12), a также лютеин и другие вещества. Кроме того, кровь матери должна быть насыщена кислородом.

Каждое из этих веществ играет важную роль в образовании и росте плода.

Hедостаток некоторых основных минералов или витаминов увеличивает риск пороков развития, и может привести к ограничению роста, нарушению зрения, изменению структуры и функций мозга, различным психическим расстройствам, когнитивным нарушениям и другим порокам.

Насколько обеспечен организм матери различными питательными веществами зависит во многом от времени года и даже месяца.

Приведу только 2 примера. Витамины D образуются в коже человека под действием солнца. Значит, недостаток витамина D может ощущаться в короткие зимние дни и быть в норме в солнечные летние месяцы.

То же самое можно сказать и о насыщении крови матери кислородом.  В холодные зимние месяцы, когда люди не выходят на прогулки и часто даже не проветривают комнаты, чтобы не остудить квартиру, недостаток кислорода может стать проблемой.

В интернете можно найти много примеров такого рода для всех питательных веществ в зависимости от времени года и месяцa.

Таким образом, время зачатия ребёнка может в большой степени определять его характер, поведение и таланты.

Теперь вернемся к нашему профессору физики, который начал заниматься астрологией. В этом году Нобелевскую премию получили физики, которые доказали существование запутанности частиц. Запутанные частицы могут влиять одна на другую на очень больших расстояниях практически мгновенно. Может быть, когда мы будем знать больше о запутанных частицах, другие профессора физики начнут изучать астрологию, чтобы понять влияние планет и звёзд на нашу земную жизнь. Тогда астрология станет наукой.

Eternal blessed memory

Yesterday, 30 August. died Mikhail Sergeevich Gorbachev, the person to whom I am grateful most of all in my life, except for my parents who gave me life.

Gorbachev gave me freedom, as well as to other 142 million citizens of Eastern Europe countries. Nothing like that has happened before in the history of the world.

I lived in Romania, where the crazy dictator Ceausescu brought the country to misery and poverty. Life was dismal and hopeless. Gorbachev was able to change all that.

Freedom gave me the opportunity to do what I love, to say everything I think without fear, to travel around the world and have wealthy life.

Вчера, 30 августа умер Михаил Сергеевич Горбачёв, человек которому я благодарна больше всех в жизни, кроме моиx родителей, подаривших мне жизнь.

Oн дал мне свободу, как и другим 142 миллионам граждан  стран Восточной Европы. Tакого никогда ещё не было в мировой истории.

Я жила в Румынии, где сумасшедший диктатор Чаушеску дoвел страну до нищеты. Жизнь была беспросветной и безнадежной. Горбачев смог все это поменять.

Свобода дала мне возможность заниматься любимым делом, говорить без страха всё что я думаю, ездить по всему миру и жить в достатке.

But this was rarely and usually nothing happened. There was a peaceful coexistence between us. But yesterday it ended. When I moved  the door, the wasp stung me on the arm. The arm got swollen and was in great pain. This morning, wearing long trousers, a sweater and wrapping my head in a scarf, I sprayed the wasp's nest abundantly with bleach. Some of the wasps died, and others flew away. Then I tore off their nest and threw it away. Thus ended our peaceful coexistence.

Putin, Kim Jong Un and the Fake Nuclear Threat 

Of all 9 countries that have nuclear weapons, only the Russian Federation and North Korea threaten the world with their use. Their economies are stagnating, and populations are shrinking (death rate is higher than birth rate).

"Now that the hostile US policy of conquering our republic under the pretext of fighting for human rights has become apparent, the idea of ​​turning the Korean Peninsula into a nuclear-free zone no longer makes sense,” the Korean authorities said in a statement. The Russian Nuclear Weapons Revival website writes:

“Putin sees nuclear weapons as an invitation to the world's highest table. But it seems to Putin that it is easier, rattling weapons, to enter through the back. Thus, he uses oil money for armaments, propaganda, and nuclear development.

But not everything is as simple as Putin says.

...The Russian economy lives in the last century. Now the share of the fourth order in it is more than 50% and the third order - more than 30%. In the military-industrial complex, the most advanced part of our economy, the share of the fifth order is only 10%, while in the entire US economy the share of the fifth order is 60% and about 5% of the productive forces are already in the sixth order. Russia simply did not grow up to so high order.

 ... It is no coincidence that the promising carrier rocket Angara will fly, like the famous Korolev - Gagarin rocket, on a mixture of oxygen and kerosene. The Keldysh Center and the Moscow Aviation Institute spend hundreds of millions of rubles on R&D to create spacecraft for flights to other planets, but their development is a space dead end, because they repeat what scientists in the USA and Germany have abandoned."

 Vladimir Putin at a press conference in Moscow said:

“As you know, we have recently tested new ballistic weapons systems....”

For these missile systems, according to Putin, "what is an anti-missile defense system, what is not - they do not care," because they "change the trajectory in course and altitude. And the missile defense system is designed for ballistic missiles that can inflict strike, moving along a ballistic trajectory". This rocket can carry a nuclear weapon.

America is developing a missile defense system. The idea of ​​this system is as follows: when military equipment detects that a missile has been launched towards their country, then an anti-missile is sent towards it, which detonates the first missile in the air. This system has been successfully applied in Israel.

This is how the Russian Nuclear Weapons Revival website describes the nuclear warhead project.

“This warhead is launched into outer space by a conventional ballistic missile. But instead of falling to Earth on a predictable trajectory, it separates (from the launch vehicle) and maneuvers like a cruise missile when it returns to the Earth’s atmosphere. This maneuvering, analysts say, confuses the US missile defense system, which works on the principle of calculating the trajectory of an incoming warhead and intercepts this warhead when it is aimed at a target. It will take several more years (and a lot of extra money) before a new warhead is put into mass production. The weight of an atomic bomb is several tons. The bomb thrown on Hiroshima weighed 4.4 tons. Imagine what energy must be used to maneuver such a weight at a speed equal to 8 speeds of sound. It seems fantastic!

However, "Russia certainly has the know-how to - at the expense of time and money - make a maneuvering warhead work," says the Russian Nuclear Resurrection website, and continues:

"... Putin's boastful statements are somewhat undermined by the fact that a new warhead alone is not enough to create a new generation nuclear arsenal" ... In addition, "delivery systems, both missiles and submarines, are rapidly becoming obsolete. Of the six Russian strategic nuclear missile submarines of the Typhoon type ... only one - the Dmitry Donskoi - has actually been re-equipped and is in service. And another seven Delta-4 class submarines ... will also serve their deadline by the end of this decade. So far, only two submarines are planned to be built to replace them. Russian missiles are also rapidly becoming obsolete. The heavy Russian SS-18 and SS-19 strategic missiles ... are too old to be used, and therefore they are being replaced by newer Topol-M missiles "at a rate of only 7 units per year. ... Washington can afford not to worry, because Putin's talk about nuclear weapons, apparently, has more to do with an attempt to raise the prestige of a hard-pressed military, rather than preparing for war with the United States."

In addition, the idea of ​​​​a "maneuvering" rather than a directly flying rocket is an old one, dating back to the 60s. Therefore, it is logical to assume that such a missile, as well as a computer program for tracking a "maneuvering" missile, is also being developed in the United States. I think that in this case the United States has gone far ahead in its development, given the huge technological gap between the United States and the Russian Federation.

So sleep well, dear readers. Nuclear war does not threaten us.

But, on the other hand, such a conclusion is true if Putin is sane. If Putin, driven into a corner, says: "Damn it all" and orders to blow up the nuclear arsenal right in Russia, so that the winds and oceans will carry nuclear ash around the world and much of life die. But most likely, this will not happen, because Putin's order will not be carried out. In the chain of performers, from Putin to the minister, to the techies involved in the actual launch of the rocket, there exist smart people.

 Putin's dead-end policy will lead to further impoverishment and extinction of the population, and in the end - to the collapse of the Russian Empire.

Now food prices are rising in Russia. Putin lowered the price of vodka. If there is no money for food, then do not think about who is to blame and how it can be fixed, drink and listen to Putin's toxic propaganda on TV. But such a policy cannot continue for long.

Parable of happiness

A happy family, Mother, Father and Son, lived on the outskirts of the city in a small house. Parents doted on their son. He was quiet and calm.

The father died when the son was 4 years old. Left alone, Mother decided at all costs to give the son the best education. So, he can enter high society. She worked two jobs and gave all the money she saved to her son's studies.

The son studied in the best schools, where only children from wealthy families were educated. The son was unsociable. He never had friends, never invited his classmates because he was ashamed of his poverty.

    When the son finished school, he disappeared somewhere. Mother did not know anything about him for a while. She was very grieved, but in her heart she hoped that he was alive. The mother came several times in the summer and lived as long as last out the bread brought by her. Those were happy days for her and for the Angels. When the cold came, she could no longer come. In bad, freezing weather, in a blizzard, her shelter was lent for a big fee to the passers-by.

From the stories of girls, as well as other people, Mother gradually formed a picture of the life of her Son. He married a well-to-do woman, who had this big rich house. The house was filled up with vases, sculptures, and a lot of different rubbish. The wife went to various exhibitions and sales and bought what she liked there. The wife made it a condition that there should never be anyone's leg in their house because the visitors might break or even steal something. The cook who lived in the kitchen had access only to the dining room. 

The son was quite successful in management, and every year he could buy more and more land.

There was a Sage in the city, loved and respected, although he lived in a barrel and fed on alms. The simple life gave him time and freedom to think. It was his favorite pastime and he was happy. Once he was asked: "What is the most precious thing in the world?" He replied: "Freedom of speech." The Sage did not have a family, but there were disciples who adored him. One of his students, a rich one, sold his entire fortune and gave the money to the poor in order to live like his teacher. 

Once during her travels, the wife heard about Sage. At first,  she  refused to believe that such a loser could be happy and respected. But on reflection, the wife decided to break her ban on visiting the house, invite the loser and show him how to live. His arrival will be an advertisement for her home and her acquisitions. At first, the Sage did not agree. He never accepted any invitation, but after people told him about the family, he made an exception. Upon his return, the Sage said: "Lost sheep. Stupid, wasted life!"
